2018 CAN AM Regatta at Youngstown Yacht Club

The Can Am Regatta will be going into its 6th year with the 2019 edition taking place July 27th to 29th. It is a highly competitive regatta primarily focused on one design sailboat racing and brings together the best sailors from Canada and the United States Great Lakes region for fun, comraderie and exciting course racing. Can Am took the place of YYC's very successful 40 year long LEVEL Regatta which started in the 1970's.

2018 LYRA Regatta at Rochester and Genesee Yacht Clubs

Every year the Lake Yacht Race Association puts on a week long regatta on Lake Ontario for sailors around the region to compete in distance and course races. The venue moves each year to a different hosting yacht club on either the Canadian or American side. The 2018 event was hosted by two yacht clubs in the Rochester, NY area. Rochester Yacht Club and Genesee Yacht Club.

2018 Etchells Atlantic Coast Championship at American Yacht Club

The Etchells Class is one of the most competitive classes in the world and competitor lists read like a "who's who of sailing". The ACC regatta took place at American Yacht Club in Rye, NY in severe conditions for the Long Island Sound. American Yacht Club will host the US nationals this Fall.

2017 J70 North American Championship at American Yacht Club

The J70 is the hottest one design class to come out in some time and the 2017 North Americans attracted some of the best sailors around. Sponsorship by Chandon, Doyle Sails and Tanqueray among several others made the regatta an fun and memorable event.
